Job Description

Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced and strengthen the cyber security of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure and public sector organisations. You’ll be at the heart of Vodafone’s IT operations—designing, building, and maintaining platforms that power our services and support our customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and operate Windows, Linux, and VMware platforms to support VBSE and its customers
  • Become a subject matter expert in Network Management Systems and IT Security
  • Create and maintain platform documentation, including High-Level and Low-Level Designs, and process guides
  • Support customer deployments, user acceptance testing, and IT Health Checks
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture, Engineering, NOC, and SOC teams to provide deep technical support

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or Engineer, ideally in telecoms or ISP environments
  • Skilled in Windows, Linux, and VMware systems
  • Hands-on experience with Network Management Systems like SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or vendor-specific tools
  • Familiar with security technologies including AV/EDR and SIEM
  • Can script in Python or PowerShell
  • Hold a degree or equivalent experience
  • Eligible to maintain DV security clearance
