A leading Fortune 500 supply chain organization is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of high-impact cybersecurity initiatives across a complex enterprise environment. This role will help bring structure, governance, and execution discipline to programs that intersect with infrastructure services, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity architecture, and third-party risk. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned project leader who can influence highly technical teams, establish strong project governance, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing programs using structured waterfall or hybrid delivery models and working across teams that may not directly report to them.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives, from planning and initiation through implementation and completion
Develop and manage project plans, RAID logs, governance checkpoints, executive reporting, and milestone tracking
Coordinate cross-functional work across Security Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Service Management, and external partners
Drive initiatives across cybersecurity domains including Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection and encryption, network and endpoint security, and enterprise data governance
Support enterprise security programs such as Zero Trust architecture, multi-factor authentication expansion, SIEM enhancements, cloud security initiatives, incident response improvements, and third-party risk mitigation
Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics to provide leadership visibility into project progress, risk posture, and outcomes
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, remediation plans, and audit findings, ensuring accountability and timely resolution
Partner with senior leadership across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise technology teams to align priorities and drive project outcomes
Promote strong project management discipline by coaching teams and stakeholders on structured delivery practices
Requirements:
10+ years of IT Project Management experience, including significant experience leading cybersecurity or information security initiatives within large enterprise environments
Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives in areas such as: Identity and Access Management (Okta, Active Directory)
Network or security architecture initiatives
Endpoint security and infrastructure protection
Data governance, data protection, or encryption programs
Cloud security initiatives and enterprise security readiness
Audit remediation, regulatory compliance, risk management, or governance programs
Strong experience managing project governance frameworks, including RAID management, milestone planning, change control, and executive reporting
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive progress in matrixed environments without direct authority
Experience delivering projects using waterfall or hybrid methodologies, particularly within infrastructure and enterprise technology teams
Nice to have:
PMP certification or progress toward certification
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
Experience within large enterprise, supply chain, logistics, or highly regulated environments
Familiarity with enterprise security and infrastructure technologies including Okta, Active Directory, SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, vulnerability management platforms, Azure Security tools, or similar technologies
Experience working with enterprise tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, ServiceNow, Jira, SAP, Oracle, or Azure
Exposure to emerging technology initiatives or enterprise transformation programs
