The Senior IT Procurement Manager, Sourcing is a critical leadership role within our Global Procurement team, focused on driving high-value sourcing decisions, supplier consolidation, and significant cost-savings initiatives. Working closely with the Sourcing Execution leadership, you will proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high-risk, complex, and sensitive technology initiatives. You will act as a trusted business partner to senior management, gathering and analyzing data to create strategic playbooks that optimize the total value generated from our global supplier base.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end sourcing process for complex, high-visibility technology deals with Total Contract Value exceeding $5M
Independently coordinate and conduct sophisticated commercial and legal negotiations
Draft, review, and edit complex supplier contracts and amendments
Manage the full RFP lifecycle
Gather and analyze internal spend data and external market intelligence to create strategic playbooks
Proactively identify and prioritize sourcing opportunities
Monitor global supply market conditions and industry trends
Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business partners
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key technology vendors
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing activities are integrated and compliant
Deliver on individual cost-reduction targets of $5M and contribute to team-wide savings goals of $25M
Support the development and adherence to financial, fraud-prevention, and risk management controls
Analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators
Provide coaching and professional development to junior team members
Contribute to the development of standardized global tools, templates, and best practices
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of dedicated procurement sourcing experience
At least 5 years of specialized experience in Technology Sourcing with a proven track record of leading deals over $5M TCV
Mastery of Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential
experience with Ivalua is a strong asset
Post-secondary degree in Finance or a related field
a formal Procurement Designation is highly preferred
Exceptional impact and influence, strong business/financial acumen, and the ability to negotiate complex legal and commercial terms independently
