Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global leader in the healthcare industry who are on a multi year global IT transformation journey, and are looking for a Senior IT Portfolio and Transformation Manager to manage the overall technology portfolio, and act as a number 2 to their global CITO. This would suit a very strong Portfolio Manager, with significant exposure to a diverse range of international or global IT transformation projects, and experience working with C Level stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Support the CITO in developing and refining the IT strategy and operating model aligned with complex business priorities
Lead as-is assessments of current IT processes, delivery models, and technology footprint across markets
Contribute to defining core vs. local vs. shared capabilities, key governance layers, and decision rights
Translate the target operating model into actionable implementation steps, including structures, processes, and role definitions
Design, implement, and manage the IT transformation portfolio, establishing processes, governance structures, and reporting standards
Build and maintain a single, transparent view of all transformation initiatives – including scope, milestones, dependencies, and benefits
Define and maintain a portfolio-level risk and issue management framework, escalating critical blockers to the OCIO
Develop and maintain the multi-year IT transformation roadmap, integrating cost, benefit, and resource planning in coordination with the IT Finance & Transformation Manager
Support prioritisation of initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and interdependencies
Prepare and facilitate strategic alignment sessions, steering committees, and ELT briefings
Provide clear, concise reporting on roadmap progress, achievements, and decisions required to senior leadership and board members
Requirements:
Significant experience leading a diverse range of IT Transformation programmes in complex, multinational businesses
Strong understanding of IT operating models, transformation governance, and strategic planning for enterprise scale programmes
Must be comfortable alternating between high level strategy and operational delivery
Very strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders up to and including C Suite Level
Significant experience managing relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
