Our client is a highly respected, listed enterprise in Hong Kong. Renowned for their market stability and forward-thinking corporate vision, they are currently undergoing an aggressive, group-wide digital evolution to modernise legacy operations and establish an agile, data-driven platform for future growth. You will report directly to the Head of Digital Transformation and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary IT operations and infrastructure division.
Job Responsibility
Lead a specialised transformation team to accelerate modern agile delivery models across the group
Architect and execute enterprise-wide data centre-to-cloud migration strategies utilizing Azure and AWS platforms
Provision and govern secure, high-performance data infrastructure (compute, storage, and connectivity) required to support enterprise analytics, data pipelines, and AI workloads
Serve as the operational infrastructure lead for major enterprise application upgrades, ensuring core ERP migrations seamlessly integrate with modern cloud environments
Eliminate legacy operational bottlenecks by aggressively championing Automation-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), containerisation, and self-service environment provisioning
Govern strict IT service standards, incident response protocols, and tight patch-management discipline across all corporate offices, branches, and remote sites
Direct the IT Procurement Manager to negotiate and govern massive Enterprise Agreements (EA), hardware lifecycles, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) contracts to maximise ROI
Manage the group’s IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets while proactively identifying cost-consolidation and automated efficiency opportunities
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or IT service management within a mid-to-large enterprise environment
Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams across both traditional support and agile/transformation engineering
Proven track record of taking independent initiative to re-engineer workflows, challenge legacy processes, and champion new ways of working
Demonstrated ability to execute complex, high-risk operational projects (such as large-scale site consolidations or zero-downtime migrations) with flawless attention to detail
Hands-on experience leading and executing actual data centre-to-cloud migrations within Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Strong technical grip on Microsoft 365 governance, enterprise networking (e.g., SD-WAN), and modern cybersecurity architectures (e.g., SASE, EDR, Zscaler, SentinelOne)
Deep familiarity with ITIL frameworks coupled with a strong operational grasp of Agile, DevOps, and automated IT service delivery models
Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with required fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
Experience operating within complex multi-branch, multi-site, heavy industry, or engineering environments is highly advantageous
