This role involves performing IT audits and assurance activities across entities in the UK, Europe, and Africa, offering the successful candidate broad exposure to senior stakeholders within a diverse and multifaceted group. Reporting to both regional and global audit leadership, the position plays a key role in supporting internal governance, compliance, and risk management efforts. With dynamic Internal IT Audit coverage that changes year to year, the role provides the opportunity to explore different technologies, systems, and locations—ensuring continuous professional growth and variety in daily work. You’ll gain hands-on experience in IT security, infrastructure, and Cloud Governance across a multinational landscape, while engaging in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across various disciplines. Additionally, the role offers strong development in high-demand areas including SOX, ISO, COBIT, ITGC, NIST, and ITIL frameworks.
Job Responsibility:
Perform IT audits and assurance work across international operations, supporting compliance and governance initiatives
Deliver audits in line with SOX ITGC, ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, and ITIL standards
Assess a wide range of IT risks and controls covering: IT security, Database management, Cloud Governance, Network security, Disaster recovery, Technical IT infrastructure and more
Work in close collaboration with second-line internal audit functions to provide assurance over new and existing products, including flexible leasing and finance services
Gain deep exposure to a dynamic and ever-changing audit universe—unlike firms with repetitive annual cycles, you’ll audit new systems and regions each year
Report findings to senior stakeholders and support ongoing improvement initiatives across regions
Requirements:
Several years’ experience in internal audit, external audit, or IT risk roles
Knowledge of IT SOX, ISO27001, COBIT, NIST, and ITIL frameworks
Strong communication and reporting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CISM are advantageous
High integrity, open-mindedness, and professionalism
Structured and disciplined approach to work
Flexibility in managing ad-hoc requests and challenges
