Senior Director of Information Technology The Senior Director of Information Technology will be responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of certain aspects of Information Technology within the company and across portfolio companies. This individual will be closely involved with the development and oversight of cybersecurity, vendor management, project management of standardized applications across our portfolio, and due diligence for potential company acquisitions. The Senior Director of Information Technology will also work closely with portfolio companies to determine areas of possible standardization for improved performance and efficiencies (economies of scale). Job Responsibility:
Oversee the enterprise-wide applications (i.e., ADP, D365 Business Central, Prophix, Certify, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, KnowBe4) including prioritizing and executing enhancements and upgrades (in partnership with portfolio IT leaders)
Work closely with portfolio company IT leaders to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the shared infrastructure in alignment with business needs (shared data center, centralized processes and tools, etc)
Responsible for development and execution of a cybersecurity framework which balances strong protection of company assets with user productivity
Lead due diligence efforts for potential company acquisitions, including evaluation of IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, data readiness and integration complexity, and oversee and/or support integration efforts for successful acquisitions
Determine areas of standardization of IT tools across portfolio companies (i.e., licensing, network architecture/engineering, contracts, cybersecurity and disaster recovery, website hosting, procurement, vendor selection)
Research and make recommendations on hardware and software purchases. Negotiates with and manages vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
Responsible for overseeing the creation and administration of continuity plans to execute in the event of a critical outage, disaster, or cybersecurity incident that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis
Manage budget and control expenses effectively for assigned areas of responsibility
Remain current on new developments in Information Technology (including AI) and plans for future upgrades and technologies
Coordinate IT support for company staff
Serve as an expert resource, mentor and thought partner to IT leaders across the portfolio
Provide routine cybersecurity updates to board of directors and audit committee, as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree
10+ years' experience managing IT in a medium or large sized organization (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Clear, confident communicator with executives, advisors, and board members
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment and influence without authority, while balancing technical knowledge with strategic objectives and relationships across a diverse set of businesses
Exposure to and implementation experience with multiple ERP systems
Expertise in emerging technology, cybersecurity, project management, and vendor management
Ability to manage contracts, budgeting, and forecasting for IT services
Experience working with multiple locations/businesses with manufacturing experience desired
Experience with M&A diligence and integration strongly preferred
