Job Description:

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Applications Engineer with strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities to support our Dayforce HCM platform. This role will be responsible for managing Dayforce configurations, reporting, integrations, release testing, and ongoing support for Payroll, Benefits, HR, and IT stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage Dayforce configurations, reporting, integrations, release testing, and ongoing support for Payroll, Benefits, HR, and IT stakeholders
  • Maintain organizational structure configurations
  • Develop, maintain, schedule Dayforce custom reports
  • Administer and support Dayforce integrations
  • Partner with vendors as needed
  • Execute and monitor recurring data jobs and automation tasks
  • Analyze Dayforce release notes and assess system impact
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for system releases, patches, and new features
  • Document test cases and ensure quality delivery of new configurations

Requirements:

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing Dayforce HCM platform configurations, reporting, integrations, release testing, and support
  • Ability to work closely with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and IT teams
  • Experience with Dayforce core modules including Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Reporting Analytics and Workforce Management
  • Experience with Dayforce integrations including DF Link, Integration Studio, Dayforce Imports & Exports and API-based or file-based integrations
  • Ability to troubleshoot failed integrations and resolve data mapping issues
  • Experience executing and monitoring recurring data jobs and automation tasks
  • Ability to analyze Dayforce release notes and assess system impact
  • Experience conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for system releases, patches, and new features
  • Ability to document test cases and ensure quality delivery of new configurations
