Job Responsibility

  • Conduct legal research using resources such as FDA, USPTO, PTAB, and PACER websites
  • Prepare materials and support logistics for depositions, hearings, mediations, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Cite-check and proofread briefs, reports, declarations, and other legal documents, including Bluebook citations
  • Maintain case files, both electronic and physical, in accordance with firm procedures
  • Perform searches in document production databases, such as Relativity and Logikcull, and download relevant materials
  • Accurately and consistently track billable time
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7+ years of recent and direct proven experience as an IP Litigation Paralegal, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department supporting intellectual property matters
  • Hands-on experience supporting all phases of IP litigation, including case management, discovery, deposition and trial preparation
  • Strong working knowledge of legal research resources, including USPTO, PTAB, PACER, FDA, and other applicable databases
  • Experience using litigation support and document review platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in cite-checking, proofreading, and Bluebook citation formatting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain electronic and physical case files and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to record billable time accurately and work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
