Job Description

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Investment Portfolio Control Consultant supporting the Private Wealth Businesses within the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Investment Risk team. WIM Investment Risk is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of the WIM Investment Risk program which sets the standards and requirements for investment activities when acting as fiduciary. Programs include investment portfolio, product and individual security risk monitoring. This role supports the Fiduciary and Trust business, including the High-net-worth and Ultra-high-net-worth client segments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead or partner with the relevant business group to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk
  • Review and analyze portfolio risk
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for measuring and managing investment risk
  • Perform complex activities related to assessing portfolio risk exposures
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues
  • Lead team to monitor and manage investment risk deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the effectiveness of portfolio asset allocation strategies
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff

Requirements

4+ years of investment portfolio control experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have

  • Emphasis in identifying investment risks and developing remediation plans
  • Experience working with Trust or Fiduciary investments
  • Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment
