We are seeking a highly motivated Senior International Tax Manager to strengthen the Group Tax function, with primary responsibility for managing international tax matters across the Group's jurisdictions excluding Luxembourg and the United States, where dedicated specialist tax teams are in place. The role will have ownership of international tax compliance, governance and cross border tax projects, coordinating closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury and external advisors across the AD jurisdictions (+20 in Europe and APAC). While Luxembourg and U.S. taxation sit outside the operational scope of this position, close alignment with the respective specialist teams forms part of the global tax operating model. This role offers broad exposure across the Group and a unique opportunity to operate in a complex multinational environment with a high degree of autonomy, responsibility and visibility.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coordinate tax matters across the Group's international jurisdictions (excluding Luxembourg and the United States)
Oversee local tax compliance obligations through local finance teams and external advisors
Monitor tax filing calendars, tax payments, deadlines and recurring obligations across jurisdictions
Review local tax positions and ensure consistency with Group tax policies, governance standards and risk appetite
Coordinate tax input for new entity setups, closures, liquidations and structural changes
Maintain ongoing visibility over tax risks, exposures and planning opportunities across the international footprint
Own and drive tax workstreams relating to legal entity simplification projects, mergers, liquidations and internal reorganisations
Lead tax input on dividend repatriation strategies, withholding tax management and broader cash extraction initiatives
Assess tax implications of cross border financing flows and intercompany arrangements
Provide tax support on acquisitions, disposals and business expansion initiatives, as required
Coordinate the implementation of global tax initiatives and legislative developments impacting the Group
Pillar Two readiness, including data collection, impact assessments, implementation support and ongoing monitoring across relevant jurisdictions
Country by Country Reporting (CbCR) processes
DAC6 / MDR reporting processes across applicable jurisdictions
Develop and maintain tax trackers, dashboards and management reporting to provide clear tax insights and support senior management decision making
Contribute actively to the design, maintenance and enhancement of the Group tax governance framework, policies and internal controls
Act as tax point of contact for local tax audits, authority queries and information requests across the international jurisdictions
Manage relationships with external tax advisors during audits, disputes and controversy matters
Ensure audit readiness through robust documentation standards and effective file management
Identify, escalate and support the resolution of material tax risks and exposures
Contribute to the evolution of the Group's tax data and digitalisation strategy, including increased use of automation, data analytics and emerging AI enabled tools within tax processes
Identify opportunities where technology can enhance efficiency, accuracy and insight across tax compliance, reporting and governance activities
Work collaboratively with Finance and other functions to leverage existing systems, tools and data sources in support of tax objectives
Requirements:
8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in Big Four international tax teams and/or in house multinational groups
Specific experiences with overseeing multiples jurisdictions and coordinating global tax project within multiple jurisdictions
Strong knowledge of international corporate tax principles and cross border taxation
Proven experience managing multi jurisdictional tax matters through advisor networks
Exposure to reorganisations, group simplification, M&A, withholding tax, tax audits and governance frameworks
Familiarity with Pillar Two, DAC6, CbCR and global tax transparency initiatives
Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills
Commercial mindset with the ability to balance technical accuracy and pragmatism
Fluent English required
