Job Description

Audit & Risk Recruitment are supporting a large Fortune 200 business in the manufacturing sector as they look to hire a French speaking Senior Internal Auditor. This is a newly created role which will report directly into the Audit Manager and requires a high level of international travel with up to 50%. Trips will be with 3+ members of the team with the majority to Europe and 4-5 long haul trips a year to Australasia, Asia and/or America. The business has a large global presence, and their teams are split across the globe with hubs in the UK, Chicago, Brazil and Hong Kong. The audit function is highly valued within the business as they deliver a value adding service that assists in ensuring the business achieves its strategic objectives. Working from the Windsor office (3 days a week – rest WFH), you will work closely with colleagues across the globe on audits. On each assignment, you will understand the various risks, processes, controls, IT systems, business performance metrics, operational challenges, and business initiatives and ensure proper controls and processes are in place for each assignment. Due to the financial nature of the audits, to be considered you are required to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and currently work in external audit, ideally with a Top 10 practice firm and are looking for that first move into internal audit. If you have any manufacturing experience that would be advantageous but not essential. In return you will get a leading package inclusive of salary, fuel card, additional £6k cash allowance, bonus and the usual benefits associate with a listed business. We have a strong history with this client, having placed multiple candidates into the audit team over the years. Many of whom who have now progressed into the business or have gone onto to further their career within internal audit.
