Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with an established business who are renowned for their excellent corporate culture and employee benefits to recruit 2 newly created Senior Internal Audit Manager roles as part of an expansion of their Internal Audit function. This role will be almost entirely home-based, and will only require you to go into the Darlington office 1 day/quarter. Candidates must live in the UK with permanent residency.

Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership for the delivery of Internal Audit activity in assigned portfolio
  • extensive senior stakeholder relationship management and influencing
  • coordinating and overseeing the delivery of audits
  • reviewing audit work delivered by Internal Audit Managers
  • delivering more complex audit reviews when required
  • contribute to continued improvement of the Internal Audit function by enhancing audit methodology
  • enabling the continuing development of an insight-driven approach

Requirements

  • Qualified (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIA/CMIIA) Internal Audit professional
  • strong experience in practice and/or industry
  • prior exposure to owning audit outcomes and relationships with senior stakeholders
  • very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • full eligibility to work in the UK
  • permanent UK residency in your own right
