Job Description:

Your role as Senior Designer (SD) is to lead the assigned project design team in the design, development, production and delivery of the Company’s project work. The SD will report to the Design Director (DD) and will be chiefly responsible for the day-to-day running of assigned project and other outputs.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and take responsibility for project documentation packages with a focus on design, quality, simplicity and efficiency
Insure all deadlines, budgets and schedules are maintained, reporting issues in a clear and timely manner to your head of department (HOD)
Support the DD to develop designs and concepts as directed
Under the DD, Initiate, develop and manage design schedules, specifications and quotations
Check, organise and approve ingoing and outgoing information
Where necessary, assist in the dressing and styling of properties
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers and design team members to ensure the company is constantly represented in the best light
Manage, motivate and assist with the development of other ID team members
With the greater design team, plan and attend events/promos/seminars and be a positive ambassador for the company
Promote and develop the office design cultural through inputting and partake in structured and informal creative sessions
Interface with clients as required ensuring a positive image of the company is constantly maintained
Be fiscally responsible with all company resources –hours, printing, reimbursable costs, etc.

Requirements:

Have the right to work in EU without visa sponsorship
Locally based in Barcelona
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture
8+ years of experience in luxury residential and / or hospitality projects
InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketchup
Fluent in English
Strong conceptualization and presentation skills
Strong sense of responsibility
Ability to meet tight project deadlines
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in preparing drawing packages and interior detailing
Good communication skills
