A Senior Intelligence Analyst at HiveWatch is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence to support proactive security operations and informed decision-making. The Senior Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in identifying emerging threats, monitoring global events, and providing timely situational awareness to clients, security teams, and leadership. This position is a combination of rolling-up-your-sleeves to do the work and putting in place systems and processes to enable an intelligence function to scale with the business. This position requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise intelligence products. Job Responsibility:
Monitor and analyze open-source intelligence (OSINT), threat intelligence feeds, and other sources to identify and assess potential security threats and risks
Produce deliverables, including but not limited to data visualization, daily/weekly intelligence briefings, background investigations, threat assessments, and situational reports for clients and internal stakeholders with varying needs and communication styles
Manage the execution of the intelligence training program, delivering regular instruction and maintaining the intel framework as the team grows
Advise leadership on strategic security decisions using information collected and industry-wide best practices
Track and assess global and regional events that may impact client operations, including natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, crime trends, and geopolitical developments
Provide real-time intel support during security incidents, emergencies, and crises
Collaborate with the GSOC team to deliver after-action reports to clients
Build and maintain relationships with external intelligence sources, law enforcement agencies, and industry partners to enhance information sharing
Utilize intelligence platforms, data analytics tools, and mapping software to visualize and communicate threat information effectively
Identify trends, patterns, and indicators of emerging security concerns through systematic analysis and research
Maintain accurate and detailed records of intelligence activities, sources, and analytical findings in compliance with company policies
Support client-specific intelligence requirements and deliver tailored products based on individual needs and risk profiles
Stay current on global security trends, threat actor methodologies, and best practices in intelligence analysis
Collaborate with leaders to develop the framework for a scaling intelligence apparatus
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, OSINT research, or related field (military intelligence, law enforcement intelligence, corporate security intelligence, or government intelligence experience preferred)
OR a combination of 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a security/criminal justice/law enforcement/risk management-related discipline, Master's in LEIA/risk management, or a related study preferred
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify patterns and trends
Proficiency in open-source intelligence collection techniques and familiarity with OSINT tools and platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports for diverse audiences
Experience with intelligence software, data visualization tools, and mapping platforms
Strong understanding of global geopolitical dynamics, security threats, and risk management principles
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all analytical products
On-call availability required for after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage
Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Experience supporting corporate security operations or executive protection programs
