Job Description

The Business Systems Team ensures the reliability and evolution of the core platforms that power Wiz. Composed of administrators, developers, and analysts, the team maintains and optimizes these systems to support company growth. Our focus is on practical execution and system health to meet Wiz’s broader business objectives. As a Sr. Integrations Engineer, you will be a key contributor to Wiz's enterprise integration platform, Workato. Your responsibilities will encompass the development, maintenance, and support of enterprise integrations, ensuring seamless and secure data flow and connectivity between critical business systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development of efficient integrations within the Business Systems ecosystem, with a strong focus on security best practices, scalability, and performance. This will include hands-on development and collaboration with cross-functional technical teams, while serving as a technical resource for integration architecture across business systems tooling. The ideal Sr. Integrations Engineer will possess a proactive and inquisitive approach to solving business needs via automation and integration. They will also bring experience as a hands-on engineer with demonstrable expertise in integration platforms, APIs, and secure data architecture. A strong customer-centric mindset and experience in supporting end-users are essential, combined with a solid understanding of the business needs of Finance, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams, a high degree of technical proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding data security and compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Platform Contribution: Act as a core technical expert for Wiz's enterprise integration platform, Workato
  • Integration Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure integrations
  • Best Practices & Standards: Implement integrations according to established governance policies and security standards
  • End-User Support: Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting
  • Technical Consulting: Support the evaluation of new systems and implementations
  • Platform Monitoring: Contribute to building robust monitoring and alerting systems
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess effectiveness of current integrations and implement improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an integrations engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on enterprise integration platforms and security
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workato, including recipe development, connector configuration, and secure integration patterns
  • Deep understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and secure integration protocols
  • Strong knowledge of secure data architecture, data modeling, ETL processes, and data encryption
  • Automation mindset—relentlessly pursues fully automated solutions to manual processes
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strong security practices and team alignment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both technical and functional teams
  • Experience with CRM and ERP data structures like Salesforce & NetSuite is strongly preferred
  • Experience with AI tools and securely integrating AI into custom automation is a plus
  • Experience with JavaScript and Python is a plus
