Job Responsibility

  • Support the accounting integration of newly acquired entities by coordinating finance-related activities and ensuring a smooth incorporation into existing reporting processes
  • Manage post-acquisition accounting tasks, including preparing opening balance sheets and calculating net working capital adjustments following close
  • Record financial activity in the general ledger with a high level of accuracy and attention to proper classification
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding differences in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Analyze account activity and explain its impact on the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  • Partner with operational leaders to clarify financial results, answer reporting questions, and provide timely insight into performance trends
  • Contribute to decision support by translating financial data into clear recommendations for business and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Assist with the month-end close by preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and helping deliver complete and accurate financial information on schedule
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address accounting issues, share information, and support broader finance objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with month-end close activities in a corporate or multi-entity accounting environment
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries
  • Demonstrated ability to complete account reconciliations accurately and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining reliable supporting documentation
