Job Description:

In this role you will manage the delivery of interface projects aiming to obtain healthcare data from a wide variety of Practice Management systems, EHR systems, HIE vendors, hospital systems, national aggregator, or interoperability network to enable our partner practices to use key functionality in Aledade’s population health platform. The manager will provide strategic planning and roadmap of the data integration portfolio. The manager will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing the day-to-day activities of the integration project management team as well as collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. The manager will lead a team or assist the Director to stand up a new team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives
  • Create program roadmap
  • Manage the coordination and relationship with internal partners and stakeholders
  • Manage the relationship with the external vendors which include vendor management, negotiations, and contract management
  • Present regular updates on program health and future opportunities to leadership
  • Create ways to measure success
  • Provide critical leadership to ensure overall quality of project planning and execution, while minimizing and mitigating portfolio risks
  • Managing the execution of multiple healthcare integrations projects’ lifecycle simultaneously
  • Provide the communication link between Integrations and internal partners
  • Managing issues, decisions, risks, and escalations to management and/or stakeholders
  • Be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project blockers
  • Provide the management of tasks supporting business continuity of the portfolio
  • Managing all tasks that supports the presence of all active interfaces
  • Providing assistance in finding solutions of critical issues affecting active interfaces

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in providing strategic planning and roadmap on healthcare data integration
  • 5+ years experience with interoperability standards and methodologies
  • 5+ years experience with APIs, HL7 v2/v3, ORU, XDS.b, XDA, XDM, SFTP, VPN, or related communication protocols
  • 8+ years experience working with top-tier inpatient and emergency hospitals, Home Health, or SNF’ electronic health record (EHR), practice management, health information exchange (HIE) vendors, interoperability networks, national aggregators, etc.
  • 8+ years of technical program management or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree in a technical field or other relevant fields

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise
