Job Description

Barbaricum is currently seeking a proficient Senior Integrated Master Scheduler to join our dynamic team in support of the Program Executive Office Soldier, focusing on the engineering, building, testing, and deployment of innovative cloud service offerings.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Applies principles of project management developing large, complex schedules
  • Performs program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances
  • Builds and maintains a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from vendors and Government sources
  • Monitors vendor schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
  • Acts as scheduling subject expert and mentors the program staff with regards to scheduling
  • Understands and has facility with enterprise-level scheduling software
  • Proposes processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling

  • Schedule Development & Governance: Develop and govern conceptual and detailed EPC schedules covering stage gates, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Lead the baseline schedule approval process with all stakeholders
  • Critical Path & Risk Analysis: Expertly create and analyze Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. Identify and manage near-critical and commissioning-critical paths, developing proactive mitigation and recovery plans
  • Contractor Integration: Masterfully review and integrate complex contractor schedules into the definitive MIS, performing Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to support contract claims and negotiations
  • Progress & Predictive Analytics: Establish a quantity-based progress measurement system. Perform schedule health checks using tools like Acumen Fuse and lead Monte Carlo simulations to determine confidence levels for key milestones
  • Commissioning & COD Integration: Ensure seamless integration of testing, turnover, and final acceptance into the MIS. Verify that the Commercial Operation Date (COD) is always logic-driven and risk-adjusted
  • Executive Reporting: Produce weekly and monthly updates, integrated look-ahead plans, and concise narrative reports for senior leadership
  • Leadership & Standards: Establish and champion all Primavera P6 standards and templates. Mentor project controls teams and project managers on scheduling principles and analytical techniques
