Job Responsibility

  • Process London Market Insurance underwriting data following established procedural guides
  • Analyse technical data and calculate transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions
  • Manage internal and external queries to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data processing
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to team members
  • Organise documentation to facilitate smooth data processing
  • Contribute to internal and external (client) reporting

Requirements

  • Relevant experience within the insurance sector
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on service quality and client satisfaction
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team
  • Capability to provide training, support, and guidance to colleagues
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of the insurance market, structure, practices, and regulations
  • Familiarity with services provided by PCIS and specifically UWIS
  • Experience with direct and reinsurance placements
  • Ability to interpret insurance documentation and data accurately
  • Knowledge of relevant classes of business and the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with client operations and underwriting teams
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above, including Mathematics and English
  • Willingness to pursue relevant CII qualifications
