Job Description:

Wells Fargo seeks a Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist for The Structured Products Group (SPG) Team in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations, supporting the firm's fastest-growing business. As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners. The Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist will work to support complex deals, partner directly with the internal and external clients, and work to identify ways to enhance the client and processing experience.

Job Responsibility:

Provide lifecycle support for the structured loan portfolio
Coordinate client onboarding processes, manage payments, oversee internal customer service, handle funding operations, administer customer billing across the structured loan operations lifecycle
Read, interpret, and apply knowledge for Loan Agreements
Review and analyze complex operational tasks that require in-depth evaluation to drive resolution
Contribute to large scale projects related to process, procedures and efficiencies with internal and industry related initiatives
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Provide leadership to bring groups together to resolve multi-faceted complex issues

Requirements:

4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Thorough understanding of loan, securities, and finance terms
Ability to explain complex topics to junior members and act as a risk control mitigator

Nice to have:

2+ years of experience working with Loan IQ and nCino
3+ years of experience reading, interpreting, translating, and applying lending knowledge for Loan Agreements
Experience with wire transfers and money movement
Ability to influence, gain buy-in, and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Experience communicating complex concepts effectively, in both written and verbal formats
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
