Job Description:

Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative role at Wells Fargo responsible for operational tasks for complex institutional trades, OTC derivative confirmation, and ensuring proper execution of trade agreement documents.

Job Responsibility:

Perform operational tasks for complex institutional trades
Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes
Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires, and reconciling transactions
Review time sensitive documents
Provide training or work direction to less experienced staff
Support audit requirements within the process
Address compliance and corporate governance issues
Lead or participate in projects
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers
Interact with internal and external customers
Identify and drive process re-engineering opportunities
Follow up with clients to ensure trade agreement documents are executed
Ensure transaction information is correct and complete for OTC Rates, Credits, Equity, FX and Commodities trades
Resolve client queries within timeline
Act as point of contact between front office, legal and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience
MBA or an advanced degree (or equivalent exp.)
4+ years of experience in OTC Derivative Confirmation
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Understanding of derivatives products, terminologies and trade life cycle
Acquainted with ISDA standards & definitions
Swiftly Identifies potential risks in operational processes
Displays strong analytical skills to improve workflow

Nice to have:

Builds relationship with businesses and counterparties
Partner with Technology to identify/resolve system issues
Experience in various system implementation UAT testing
