Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Dubai office and take a key role in shaping our growing Civil Engineering and Infrastructure capability. You will be part of a team delivering some of the most prestigious and complex projects across KSA, UAE and internationally. As one of Cundall’s longest-established disciplines, the Civil Engineering team is recognised internationally for its expertise, proactive collaboration, and commitment to professional excellence.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng), and either chartered or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent)
  • proven experience in civil and infrastructure engineering within a consultancy environment
  • experience across a range of civil infrastructure disciplines, with experience in some of the following areas: grading and earthworks for external works, wet utilities (stormwater, sewerage and domestic water networks), utility coordination, and the integration of infrastructure with building and development plot projects
  • sound understanding of integrated infrastructure design principles
  • proficient in the use of industry-standard digital engineering and infrastructure design tools
  • experience delivering infrastructure projects within the Middle East is highly desirable
  • good understanding of local authority approval processes
  • experience working within multidisciplinary project teams to successfully coordinate infrastructure design across complex developments
  • strong technical knowledge with proven managerial ability
  • track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • capable of managing multiple large-scale projects while guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers
