Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business, develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, and contribute to improving system efficiencies and automation.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in improving system efficiencies and automating on tasks that require human intervention
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and technology initiatives (OpenShift) to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or operational standards
Review/debug code, test and document for investigations or change implementations
Review and analyze moderately complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical conditions
Act as a key participant and/or make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, technology and business team to resolve complex technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
At an operational level, be capable of managing incidents and following problem management best practices

Requirements:

4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Design complex system upgrades
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle db and be able to run/create/fine tune queries
Advance knowledge of Splunk is required
Working knowledge of OpenShift, cloud technologies, networking is also required

Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Manage software/infra/network changes in the environment
