Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Enterprise Middleware Operations India team. This role demands deep technical expertise in middleware technologies, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a proactive approach to automation and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements:

4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Middleware Administration across Windows, Linux and AIX environments
Expertise in managing and supporting middleware technologies including Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, IIS, IBM MQ, Kafka, Solace
Strong expertise in patching, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and environment builds
Experience in creating and managing MQ objects
Proficient in platform setup, topic and partition management, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Connect
Hands-on experience in setting up Solace environments
Experience conducting Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) tests
Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Shell or Python
Strong understanding of deployment tools such as UrbanCode Deploy (UCD)/Harness and automation using Ansible
Hands-on experience in SSL certificate management using Venafi
Proficient in monitoring and observability tools including AppDynamics, Grafana, and Splunk
Working knowledge of Java/J2EE platforms
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience in automating administrative tasks using scripting
ITIL v4 Certification
Experience using ITSM Service Now application
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
