Job Description

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, who will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports a datacenter environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing the operation and optimization of servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure seamless performance and reliability
  • Configuring and managing Cisco switches and firewalls, as well as working with HPE and Dell servers to deliver robust and scalable solutions
  • Handling advanced storage systems, including Dell, HPE, and PureStorage Network Attached Storage, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Managing copper and fiber cabling, ensuring efficient connectivity across the infrastructure
  • Leveraging experience in power and cooling capacity management to estimate and optimize resource utilization within the datacenter
  • Creating detailed diagrams using tools like Visio or DrawIO to map server racks, physical connections, and network layouts, providing clear documentation for current and future infrastructure planning

Requirements

  • Experience in a datacenter environment and strong background in data center operations
  • Experience in power and cooling capacity management
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and network configurations
  • Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure environments and a deep understanding of enterprise-grade hardware and networking solutions
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment, HPE and Dell hardware, and advanced storage solution
