Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Developer to help design and create productivity tools that integrate with the Adyen on-prem and cloud ecosystem and empower employees to build products safely and more efficiently by engineering workflow automations that leverage AI-assisted tools to empower teams to build and ship products safely.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead discussions and implementation for building MCP servers as a bridge between Adyen’s on-prem and cloud services with AI assisted development tools
  • Design and implement multi-layered monitoring strategies (synthetic, blackbox and whitebox) for both on-premise and SaaS tools
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, acting as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure outages
  • Identify and automate manual operations to effectively reduce toil
  • Act as a technical mentor within the team, facilitating the upskilling of team members across different global regions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in high-traffic environments where downtime has a direct financial or operational impact
  • Advanced hands-on experience in Python/Go, Typescript and CI pipelines
  • Experience building and maintaining MCP servers and its ecosystems
  • Integrating AI Assisted Development Tools into workflows and development pipelines
  • Advanced experience managing production Kubernetes applications using and maintaining Helm charts and deployments via ArgoCD
  • Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning both cloud or on-premise resources, ideally with Terraform
  • Hands-on experience with Consul, Kubernetes Ingress Controllers and HAProxy
  • Advanced knowledge with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ThousandEyes and Elasticsearch
