We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Developer to help design and create productivity tools that integrate with the Adyen on-prem and cloud ecosystem and empower employees to build products safely and more efficiently by engineering workflow automations that leverage AI-assisted tools to empower teams to build and ship products safely.
Job Responsibility:
Architect, design and build workflow automations across the company, to enable employees to build and run applications with little to no technical knowledge
Lead discussions and implementation for building MCP servers as a bridge between Adyen’s on-prem and cloud services with AI assisted development tools
Design and implement multi-layered monitoring strategies (synthetic, blackbox and whitebox) for both on-premise and SaaS tools
Participate in an on-call rotation, acting as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure outages
Identify and automate manual operations to effectively reduce toil
Act as a technical mentor within the team, facilitating the upskilling of team members across different global regions
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in high-traffic environments where downtime has a direct financial or operational impact
Advanced hands-on experience in Python/Go, Typescript and CI pipelines
Experience building and maintaining MCP servers and its ecosystems
Integrating AI Assisted Development Tools into workflows and development pipelines
Advanced experience managing production Kubernetes applications using and maintaining Helm charts and deployments via ArgoCD
Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning both cloud or on-premise resources, ideally with Terraform
Hands-on experience with Consul, Kubernetes Ingress Controllers and HAProxy
Advanced knowledge with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ThousandEyes and Elasticsearch
