Senior Information Systems Security Engineer

The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) is responsible for conducting and reviewing technical security assessments across computing environments to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. This role defines, validates, and verifies system security requirements and contributes to the design and integration of secure architectures across networking, computing, and multi‑enclave environments. The ISSE embeds IA principles into deployed systems, collaborates with architects and developers to apply consistent security solutions, and supports the planning, assessment, and authorization of secure systems in accordance with NSA/CSS, DoD, and NIST Risk Management Framework processes.
