Job Description:

This role is focused on designing information system solutions to address business problems and opportunities for customers, aligned with HPE's strategic and business goals. It involves architecting IT-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding project delivery, and working closely with clients at various levels to meet business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect custom solutions of project and program or operational scope
  • Architect reusable solutions of project or operational scope
  • Customize reusable solutions of project and program or operational scope
  • Capture and share architectural IP at the project and program level
  • Oversee implementation and governance of architectures of project and program or operational scope
  • Develop technically feasible long-term IT strategies and plans for clients
  • Assess business impact of specific technologies/strategies
  • Identify and address technical or operational risks
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and work breakdown structures
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations at CEO/Executive Staff/CIO levels
  • Contribute to the Architect profession worldwide and across the company businesses.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience - 5 years to 10 years
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design an IS solution
  • Ability to lead a team of two or more consultants
  • Ability to lead architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of IT solutions
  • Understands and applies information system or operational solution-related modeling methods and tools
  • Familiar with multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies
  • Identifies risks and challenges the customer might encounter
  • Develops Architecture Specification deliverables that map customer business requirements
  • Applies knowledge of IT and business standards and best practices
  • Deep IT industry knowledge in specific areas
  • Understands future technology or operational trends to support customer business requirements
  • Ability to write Statements of Work for medium to large business unit level solutions
  • Applies program/project management methods and processes
  • Successfully works on project teams
  • Plays a leadership role in business development activities for medium to large opportunities
  • Demonstrates excellent consultative, solution selling skills
  • Builds long-term strategic relationships
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills.
