Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer with network, endpoint, and cyber security skills. This function directly supports the Cybersecurity Operations organization and the Cyber Threat Fusion Center's monitoring, triage, and response activities.

Job Responsibility:

Create and enhance alerting capabilities for the CTFC's monitoring, triage, and response activities
Apply engineering discipline to identify, define, and implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) content
Evaluate security logs from disparate sources to generate and tune alerting
Consult with various internal clients to ensure compliance with corporate information security standards
Participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events
Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post-incident digital forensics
Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients
Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions
Review and correlate security logs
Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform cyber risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

Requirements:

4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience
2+ years of experience with network security, endpoint security, and cybersecurity threat vectors
2+ years of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) experience
2+ years of Information Security Frameworks and standards (MITRE, FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
Knowledge and understanding of data security controls including malware protection, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, content filtering, Internet proxies, encryption controls, and log management solutions
Chronicle and YARA-L coding experience
Advanced Information Security technical skills
Experience analyzing large data sets
Ability to manage complex issues and develop technical solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities

Nice to have:

Chronicle and YARA-L coding experience
