Job Description:

Senior Information Security Engineer role at Wells Fargo's Cyber Threat Fusion Center, responsible for security incident response, threat detection, investigation, and providing security consulting to ensure conformity with corporate information security policies and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities
Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics
Provide security consulting on medium projects
Design, document, test, maintain security solutions
Review and correlate security logs
Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments
Collaborate with peers, colleagues and managers
Lead and Manage Seating arrangement within Cyber Defense Management
Coordinate with team on Lab requirements
Lead critical tasks for Cyber Threat Fusion Center
Investigate complex incidents
Conduct correlation analysis across data sources
Support computer security incident response team activities
Interact with management and business representatives

Requirements:

4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience
Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, Arcsight
Incident Response Protocols and Tools experience
Understanding of cyber kill chain, MITRE framework and NIST framework
Experience in Security Incident Response, Mitigation and Remediation methodologies
Ability to manage complex security scenarios and develop innovative solutions
Experience in managing cybercrime detection, investigation, and intelligence strategies
DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) experience
Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to provide written and verbal communications to management
Information security experience in monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, forensics, cyber-crime investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence
Professional verbal and written communications
CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications

Nice to have:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
