TUI Airline is expanding its commercial responsibility under the newly formed Airline Commercial function. As our Senior Industry Partnerships Manager, you'll play a crucial role in positioning TUI Airline as an active and respected stakeholder within the broader travel and tourism industry. The role requires a strategic thinker who can position us as a leading voice in the aviation ecosystem. This role is all about building meaningful partnerships that unlock new opportunities and shape our future in travel and tourism.
Job Responsibility:
Define and deliver a roadmap for industry collaboration aligned with TUI Airline's long-term commercial, innovation and sustainability goals
Identify and structure valuable collaborations with airlines, tech providers, destination partners and tourism ecosystems
Create new business opportunities, taking initiatives from concept to execution including project management, business case development and contracting
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on industry trends, developments and partnership outcomes, translating external developments into actionable insights
Build relationships with internal teams including Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, and external partners like airports and other airlines
Define KPIs and success measures for external collaboration initiatives to track and maximise the value of our partnerships
Requirements:
Strategic partnership development skills with a proven track record of delivering commercial, reputational or innovation value through external engagement
Strong commercial acumen to align external initiatives with strategic priorities and business performance goals
Innovative thinker and self-starter with excellent judgment when evaluating opportunities
Excellent communication and narrative-building abilities to translate complex issues into clear, value-based arguments for senior stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate effectively across Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, and Government Affairs functions
Analytical mindset to evaluate trends, risks and opportunities across technology and consumer travel behavior
Adaptable and culturally fluent with experience working across multiple geographies and political contexts
Proactive, self-starting approach to operate with independence while delivering measurable outcomes and building long-term influence
