The Boeing Enterprise Classified Security team is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist. This position will drive talent management, coordinate training opportunities, liaison with Human Resources (HR) and partner with the Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) Senior Leadership team executing department goals and objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive talent and skills management activities, coordinate training connections and act as liaison with appropriate people functions for transactional and compliance related tasks
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Operations to support vertical goals, influence business outcomes and strategic direction
  • Partner with the ECS Senior Leadership team to move strategic initiatives forward, while keeping a thoughtful focus on how team contributions fit into the larger departmental picture
  • Participate in business forecasting, planning and decisions
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Experience supporting government security programs and classified environment compliance (policies, assessments, training)
  • Develop and execute projects and process plans, implement and improve policies and procedures, set operational goals and monitor metrics to ensure productivity and accountability
  • Ensure work group products or processes meet customer, company, quality, industry, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Experience leading process improvement activities that delivered measurable business results
  • Experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 required

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking security strategies to business outcomes
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
