Works with the Chief Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Team and Initiatives. This position will deliver advanced maintenance support to hatchery maintenance departments across multiple sites, including off-grid locations. Diagnose complex issues, make repairs, and offer expert recommendations to optimize system performance and reliability.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical systems across multiple hatchery sites
Deliver hands-on training and technical instruction to maintenance staff
Respond to and resolve maintenance issues as assigned
Work closely with contractors and vendors on scheduling repairs
Train staff in the effective use of PWSAC’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Audit Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) work orders in CMMS
Orient new Maintenance staff
Uphold and enforce PWSAC safety standards
Provide short-term maintenance coverage for hatchery sites during staff vacancies
Complete and submit detailed progress reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation
Potential for work to be performed on company-owned landing craft and provide short-term deck crew coverage
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
