Job Description:

Senior Indirect Tax Specialist is a person, who takes on the responsibility for VAT processes and declarations for client Business Unit(s), in accordance with agreed timeline and quality.

Job Responsibility:

Acquire, analyze and prepare VAT data/declarations and ensure accurate, compliant and timely submission of VAT declarations
Support VAT payment and refund process
Maintain accounting procedures related to VAT: settlements, reconciliation of VAT accounts, etc.
Maintain ERP master data for indirect taxes
Perform quality controls: SOX controls and Internal team's controls
Contribute to other projects and duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Requirements:

Higher education in Economics/Finance or relevant field
Previous experience in Accounting or finance (experience in VAT accounting will be considered as an advantage)
Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with Business Units and colleagues in Europe and USA
Knowledge of German would be considered as an advantage to communicate with BU Germany
At least 2-3 years experience of VAT Compliance
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, previous experience with ERP systems will be considered as an advantage

Nice to have:

Knowledge of German
Previous experience with ERP systems
