Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Professional certification or licensure as a hydrogeologist in Minnesota and an ability to expand licensure within our geographic footprint (where applicable)
Minimum 7 years of experience
Willingness to travel up to 5%, with some overnight travel throughout the upper Midwest region for project meetings, project management, business development related activities, and occasional outdoor work to support junior staff
Strong understanding of groundwater geochemistry, regulated substances, and the relationship to groundwater monitoring around solid waste facilities
Prior work experience with regulatory agencies and knowledge of state, and federal regulations related to environmental monitoring compliance
Experience with Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and remediation projects
Demonstrated business development and client relationship development skills
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in groundwater modeling and data analysis software
Prior work experience with industrial sites including solid waste management facilities (preferred)

Job Responsibility

Coordinate installation of monitoring wells, and the performance of aquifer tests to determine hydraulic properties
Prepare annual groundwater monitoring reports for regulatory agency compliance providing statistical analysis of regulated substances
