We are looking for an experienced Senior Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to support cloud and infrastructure initiatives for a healthcare organization in Milwaukie, Oregon. Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premises environments with AWS-based services
Build and enhance infrastructure automation using Ansible to improve consistency, efficiency, and deployment speed
Administer and optimize core AWS resources, including EC2 and Auto Scaling configurations, to support availability and performance goals
Monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and resolve complex operational problems across cloud and hybrid platforms
Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to develop secure, scalable architecture aligned with healthcare environment standards
Improve infrastructure reliability through capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive maintenance activities
Create and maintain technical documentation for environments, configurations, operational procedures, and support processes
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related technical role
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, Auto Scaling, and broader AWS infrastructure services
Strong practical knowledge of Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and infrastructure automation
Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments that combine cloud platforms with on-premises systems
Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, networking, and systems performance issues
Ability to work effectively in a regulated or highly available environment with strong attention to security and reliability
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
