Job Responsibility

  • Design and Implement Hybrid Cloud Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to design hybrid cloud solutions that meet the business’s technical and operational needs, particularly leveraging VMware and Microsoft Windows & SQL Server technologies
  • Infrastructure Deployment & Server Management Automation: Deploy, configure, and manage Windows and Linux server environments across VMware, on-premises infrastructure using automation-first practices
  • Use tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash/Shell scripting, Azure native tools (Arc, Update Manager, Intune, etc.), and CI/CD pipelines to standardize server provisioning, configuration, patching, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols that comply with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO)
  • Ensure infrastructure security while keeping up with best practices and CCH requirements
  • License Management and Compliance: Proactively manage software licensing for VMware, Microsoft Windows, SQL or other DB technology, and Backup environments
  • Oversee compliance, ensuring renewals are handled efficiently, and work to optimize licensing costs through effective planning
  • Budgeting and Cost Optimization: Work with the finance and procurement teams to forecast and plan budgets related to hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Provide cost estimates for projects and actively seek ways to optimize infrastructure costs, while maintaining performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Ability to automate Windows Server and Linux Server administration using PowerShell, Bash/Shell scripting
  • Experience automating server provisioning, patching, configuration baselines, monitoring agents, backup agents, and compliance remediation
  • Ability to integrate automation with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
  • Expertise in VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, and Azure tools integration
  • Ability to implement, manage, and troubleshoot hybrid cloud environments
  • Ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance across virtualized environments
