A growing manufacturing company in Escondido is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support employee relations, recruiting, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. This role will partner closely with leadership while serving as a trusted resource for employees throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced operational environments and enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day employee support.
Job Responsibility
Provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations and performance matters
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Manage leave administration and accommodation processes
Oversee recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions
Coordinate onboarding and employee development programs
Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
Partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment outcomes
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Maintain HR records, reporting, and audit documentation
Assist with benefits administration and HRIS maintenance
Support safety and workers' compensation programs
Requirements
4+ years of Human Resources experience
Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience preferred
Experience with Paylocity, ADP, UKG, or Workday preferred
Strong knowledge of California labor laws
Bachelor's degree preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
