Job Description

A growing manufacturing company in Escondido is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support employee relations, recruiting, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. This role will partner closely with leadership while serving as a trusted resource for employees throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced operational environments and enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day employee support.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations and performance matters
  • Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Manage leave administration and accommodation processes
  • Oversee recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee development programs
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
  • Maintain HR records, reporting, and audit documentation
  • Assist with benefits administration and HRIS maintenance
  • Support safety and workers' compensation programs

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Paylocity, ADP, UKG, or Workday preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
