Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our Consumer, Small & Business Banking HR team; providing support to management within our National Branch Network organization. The HR Business Partner executes HR strategies and solutions, spanning areas including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, manager effectiveness, leadership coaching, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges
  • Provide support for middle to experienced level leaders
  • Lead consultation, advice, and hands-on support for execution of human capital strategies
  • Enhance and drive effective delivery of specialized services
  • Advise business leaders on human resources products and services
  • Resolve moderately complex issues
  • Act as a change agent for business transformation
  • Promote a positive work culture
  • Drive execution of annual processes including goal setting and performance appraisal
  • Coach managers on performance improvement plans
  • Partner with management and recruiting for talent acquisition strategy

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Human Resources Advisory or Human Resource Business Partner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience supporting a geographically distributed workforce and field-based leadership
  • Previous exposure to consumer banking products and services or experience working in a major global financial institution or regulated retail environment
  • Ability to leverage human capital metrics
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and labor relations
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization
  • Leads with a risk mindset
  • Adept at the creation and development of executive level presentations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen
