Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior HSE Officer to join our M-Renewables team in one of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Larissa. As a Senior HSE Officer, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all Health, Safety and Environmental activities on site, ensuring full compliance with legislation, company standards, and project requirements.You will coordinate with managers and subcontractors, investigate incidents, and provide guidance to ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the project-specific HSS documentation for the project (HSE Forms, RAMS, HSSE Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, etc.)
  • Checking and preparing H&S weekly and monthly site reports and keeping on top of paperwork
  • Perform inspections on the construction site at least once per week to ensure compliance
  • Collects all HSSE documentation from all subcontractors
  • Provide and inspect PPE, waste management equipment, etc.
  • Leads accident and incident investigations
  • Ensure training needs are identified, delivered, and monitored
  • Promotes and maintains a zero-accident policy

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • 2-4 years proven HSE experience in related field
  • Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of Greece HSE Legislation is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ensure that appropriate site and business specific programs are implemented, documented and standardized to effectively and efficiently meet KRI’s/SLAs and legal requirements.
