Senior HRIS Business Systems Manager - Durham, NC - Hybrid. Are you a strategic HR technology leader ready to make a real impact? The City of Durham is seeking a Senior HRIS Manager to lead our HR technology function and shape the future of HR operations for 2,800 employees.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and grow a 5-person HRIS team, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
  • Oversee Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM post-go-live stabilization, ongoing configuration, and system optimization
  • Partner with HR divisions to translate business needs into technology solutions, streamline processes, and drive data-driven decisions
  • Deliver end-user training, champion adoption, and ensure data integrity across all HR systems

Requirements

  • 6+ years in HRIS or HR technology
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM preferred
  • SAP SF, Workday, UKG Pro, ADP Workforce NOW considered
  • Strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and analytical skills
  • HR certification (IPMA-CP, SHRM, CEBS) or local government experience a plus
