Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources operations and driving employee engagement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and foster positive workplace relationships
  • Lead and manage the HR team by setting goals, providing mentorship, and ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Offer guidance and resolve employee concerns through consultation, investigation, and policy review
  • Create and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for the organization
  • Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver employee development programs that align with operational objectives
  • Review and maintain employee records for accuracy, approving necessary updates
  • Provide expertise in administering benefits, union contracts, and payroll systems
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate HR processes and improve organizational effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
  • Proficiency in HR systems, payroll, and timekeeping platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and build strong relationships across diverse employee groups
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Experience working in facilities undergoing mergers or acquisitions is a plus
