This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources operations and driving employee engagement.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and foster positive workplace relationships
Lead and manage the HR team by setting goals, providing mentorship, and ensuring alignment with business priorities
Offer guidance and resolve employee concerns through consultation, investigation, and policy review
Create and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for the organization
Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices
Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver employee development programs that align with operational objectives
Review and maintain employee records for accuracy, approving necessary updates
Provide expertise in administering benefits, union contracts, and payroll systems
Partner with leadership to evaluate HR processes and improve organizational effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
Proficiency in HR systems, payroll, and timekeeping platforms
Ability to manage multiple tasks and build strong relationships across diverse employee groups
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory
Experience working in facilities undergoing mergers or acquisitions is a plus
