We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR operations in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient execution of core HR functions including employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, benefits coordination, records management, and time and attendance/payroll reporting within Workday. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented HR professional who can balance administrative responsibilities with strategic HR support while maintaining confidentiality and strong internal partnerships across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Support day-to-day HR functions across the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee support, and HR administration
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Assist HR leadership with initiatives related to employee engagement, compliance, and workforce operations
Prepare HR presentations, reports, and communications for leadership and internal stakeholders
Manage time and attendance reporting and payroll-related HR administration in Workday
Serve as a key resource for researching, troubleshooting, and resolving payroll or timekeeping discrepancies
Maintain accurate employee data including new hires, transfers, status changes, and terminations
Review and reconcile payroll-related data including on-cycle, off-cycle, and retroactive updates
Ensure accuracy of employee records impacting payroll and reporting processes
Maintain and update employee personnel files and electronic HR record systems in compliance with company policies and record retention standards
Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of employee records
Support HR documentation, forms management, and administrative HR workflows
Serve as a primary HR resource for Workday data entry, maintenance, and HR system administration
Assist with testing, implementation support, and troubleshooting related to Workday functionality
Provide guidance and training to staff and managers on HR system processes
Support the development and maintenance of internal HR resources and document repositories
Assist with updates and enhancements to HR collaboration platforms to ensure appropriate access and compliance with confidentiality standards
Partner with HR leadership to support workforce initiatives, employee relations matters, and organizational needs
Assist with research, reporting, and HR projects to improve HR service delivery and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Workday HRIS and payroll/timekeeping functions
Strong understanding of HR administration, employee relations, and HR best practices
Knowledge of standard office systems, HR documentation processes, and HR recordkeeping requirements
Ability to interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and data management skills with attention to detail
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues within tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
At least three years of experience in Human Resources administration or HR operations
