This role is integral to driving workforce development, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and safety standards. The ideal candidate will lead recruitment efforts, support benefits administration, serve as a trusted HR partner by supporting employee relations and collaborate with leadership to strengthen the organization’s talent strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with plant leadership to develop workforce plans and oversee recruitment for both hourly and salaried positions
Implement sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline and attract top candidates
Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs that enhance employee productivity and retention
Partner with operations to ensure new hires receive safety training and meet position qualifications
Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries
Lead initiatives to promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and coordinating related training
Track and report safety incidents, manage workers’ compensation cases, and conduct investigations
Support employee relations by addressing concerns, enhancing engagement, and ensuring consistent policy enforcement
Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action procedures
Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping audits, and maintaining workforce data accuracy
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing
Proven ability to develop workforce plans and build effective talent pipelines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance regulations
Experience in fostering employee engagement and managing change effectively
Familiarity with HRIS systems such as iSolved or similar platforms
Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building capabilities
Nice to have:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred
