Job Description

The Senior HR Data and Digital Specialist at NTT DATA will focus on managing HR data integrity and supporting HR technology platforms like Workday. The role requires advanced experience in HR data management, data analytics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required, along with Workday Administrator Accreditation. This position is remote and offers the opportunity to work with a leading technology services provider.

Job Responsibility

  • Undertakes regular reviews to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyze data flows and conducts system administration checks to ensure that systems are operating smoothly
  • Extracts and collates data and writes and maintains reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools
  • Performs Workday administrative functions which may include security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, and support for integrations
  • Assists in providing accessibility, retrievability, security and protection of data in an ethical manner
  • Be first line of response for escalated and more complex user queries relating to the HRIS, gathering information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate
  • Resolves system tickets, ensuring timely responses and quality solution documentation
  • Proactively supports for HR platforms such as Workday and SuccessFactors, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws, performing scheduled activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Provides support on additional more complex platforms
  • Assists with managing the data integrity and security of the HR systems which includes but is not limited to reviewing security groups and running periodic security audits. Maintains proper change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls
  • Participates in HRIS major release review and integration testing by identifying impact/enhancement opportunities associated with a new release features/functionality and supporting users throughout the process
  • Maintains, improves and updates HRIS procedures, user documentation and system updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology / Data and Analytics or related field
  • Workday Administrator Accreditation is highly beneficial
  • Relevant data / analytics certification(s) preferred
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in HR data management, digital HR initiatives, and HR technology support
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in data analytics and reporting, with hands-on experience in utilizing data visualization tools to present HR insights effectively
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in supporting talent analytics and digital HR projects, as well as ensuring data governance and compliance, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital HR transformation
  • Advanced understanding of HR data management principles, data sources, data architecture, and data quality management
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics concepts, including data manipulation, data visualization, and basic statistical analysis
  • Advanced familiarity with HR technology systems commonly used in HR functions, such as HRIS and digital HR tools. Knowledge on back-end configuration beneficial but not essential
  • Advanced awareness of emerging digital trends in HR, including digital onboarding, self-service platforms, and employee engagement tools
  • Advanced understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance with data protection laws
  • Advanced ability to use data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data analytics platforms to derive valuable insights from HR data
  • Advanced skills in creating informative and visually appealing data visualizations and HR data dashboards
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify data discrepancies and address data-related issues
  • Excellent communication skills to convey HR data insights and digital strategies to team members and stakeholders
