The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic and hands‑on HR leader supporting two pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that enhance organizational performance, strengthen culture, and ensure compliance within a highly regulated industry. The Senior HR Manager will partner closely with site leadership, operations, quality, and corporate HR to drive employee engagement, talent development, workforce planning, and HR operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary HR Partner for two sites, supporting leaders across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functions
Develop and execute multi‑site HR strategies aligned to business goals, regulatory requirements, and workforce needs
Partner with senior leadership to strengthen organizational capability, bench strength, and succession pipelines
Lead change management efforts during organizational transitions, site expansions, or continuous improvement initiatives
Provide guidance to senior leaders and assist the other members of the FSS P&C team on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety‑first culture across both locations
Assist as needed with investigations and serve as a key liaison on complex employee relations cases
Champion employee engagement initiatives and partner with leaders to improve site-level engagement scores
Oversee recruitment strategies for critical manufacturing, quality, and technical positions across both sites in conjunction with the Fagron Talent Management team
Lead performance management processes, including goal-setting, coaching, and annual reviews
Identify training and development needs
implement learning programs including leadership development and skills training
Support succession planning and high‑potential talent identification
Ensure HR practices comply with FDA, cGMP, and other pharmaceutical manufacturing regulatory requirements
Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across both sites
Oversee HR metrics, reporting, and data integrity
use data to guide decision-making
Assist with compensation and benefits processes including job evaluation, merit cycles, and market benchmarking
Lead workforce planning activities including headcount forecasting, shift structure, and labor optimization
Support change initiatives related to automation, process improvement, or site growth
Collaborate with EHS and Operations to support safety, well‑being, and site readiness programs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, preference would be a Master’s degree
7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR)
Multi-site HR leadership experience
Experience supporting a 24/7 operation and diverse workforce populations
Demonstrated ability to supporting senior leaders and influencing without authority
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, management, customers, and vendors
Calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside customers, vendors, and governmental agencies
Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams
