You will provide senior-level HR advice and support to Directorate Management Teams, with a strong focus on complex employee relations case management and HR change initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support high-profile cases, attend senior leadership forums, and contribute to policy development and implementation.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert HR and ER advice to senior managers, particularly on complex and high-risk cases
Lead and support high-profile HR casework and change management interventions
Attend and facilitate Directorate Management Team meetings, appeals panels, and joint consultative forums
Produce and analyse KPI and management information reports on HR/ER case trends
Advise managers on people management matters in line with HR service standards
Supervise HR Consultants and act as an escalation point for complex case queries
Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner level, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting
Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR policy, and change management
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive, high-profile cases
Able to use HR data and KPIs to inform decision-making
