Our client is a fast-growing technology company operating in the digital entertainment space, currently scaling at an impressive pace. Over the past two years, the organization has tripled in size and continues to expand both its teams and operational footprint. With growth comes complexity, and the company is now entering a new phase of maturity where People strategy must evolve to proactive exectuion and scalable impact. This is a pivotal moment for HR to build structure, reinforce compliance, and elevate its influence across the business. This newly created Senior HR Business Partner role is key to strengthening the People function. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, combining hands-on HR execution with strategic insight and deep expertise in labor law and compliance. Managing the full employee lifecycle, you will guide managers through complex people matters, mitigate labor and compliance risks, and ensure that HR policies and processes evolve in line with business needs. The ideal candidate is business-oriented, highly organized, and confident navigating employee relations, regulatory frameworks, and the challenges of a dynamic, scaling organization. This role will be instrumental in strengthening HR foundations and preparing the company for its next stage of growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to leadership, supporting people strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Guide managers through complex employee relations, performance issues, and leadership challenges
  • Support the company’s growth and evolving team structures with proactive HR insight
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, and sensitive cases
  • Identify and mitigate labor and compliance risks, consulting external legal advisors when needed
  • Translate legal updates into practical HR policies and processes
  • Manage onboarding, performance management, promotions, exits, and development initiatives
  • Improve onboarding and offboarding frameworks for efficiency and consistency
  • Support a heavy recruitment phase and ensure smooth integration of new hires
  • Lead leadership development initiatives to strengthen managerial capabilities
  • Move HR from reactive to proactive, implementing scalable processes and internal controls
  • Develop HR reporting and metrics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, ER cases, labor risk exposure)
  • Use people data to anticipate trends, identify risks, and inform leadership decisions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience (HRBP, HR Generalist, Employee Relations)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Law, or a related field
  • Strong Spanish labor law and employment regulations knowledge (mandatory)
  • Full employee lifecycle exposure
  • Experience advising managers and leadership on complex people matters
  • Background in tech, SaaS, gaming, or fast-growing environments
  • Hands-on and adaptable
  • Pragmatic, empathetic, and human-oriented
  • Motivated by transformation and building structures from the ground up
  • Comfortable handling everything from compliance to culture initiatives
  • Able to co-create and build trust with a Head of HR who values partnership
