Adyen is looking for a Global Senior HR Business Partner to support a Tech Solution consisting of Engineering and Product globally. You will operate across locations including Amsterdam and our Tech hubs. In this role, you will partner with Solution leadership to deliver the strategy and will work closely with the Amsterdam team. You will collaborate with managers, leaders, and employees in all people programs such as (but not limited to) culture, talent development, employee engagement, and performance management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own people strategy for larger Tech Solution and high-impact areas of the business
  • Be an effective sparring partner for team leads on all things related to people including team growth and development
  • Influence Solution leadership on org design and leadership decisions
  • challenge managers' thinking when necessary and collaborate with them to make decisions that benefit the entire business
  • Lead Tech-wide initiatives, such as new career frameworks, Tech Hubs work, or global headcount planning
  • Handles performance, ER, and leadership topics
  • Lead performance, talent planning, succession, and leadership development across regions for the Solution
  • Facilitate talent planning that produces actionable strategies, including plans for talent acquisition, team development, and growth of future leaders in alignment with business plans and priorities
  • Coach and mentor other HRBPs supporting the Solution to raise the bar across the HRBP team
  • Continuously coach leaders at all levels to develop themselves and their teams by partnering regularly on how to increase their teams’ impact as we continue to grow and scale
  • Guide managers to apply our core values in their day-to-day decisions and foster an environment rich in diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Utilize strong experience with Workday processes to use data to tell a story in order to ensure action from the business
  • Partner with the HR Innovations and Employee Relations teams to get things done in a timely manner and provide our employees a seamless experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of direct HRBP experience working with managers and leaders at all levels in a people partnering role at a high-pace company
  • Demonstrated knowledge in HR practices, with the ability to handle the most complex performance, Employee Relations, and leadership topics
  • Strong sense of self and build trust quickly to become a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization
  • Thrive in an unstructured growing environment and are excited to try new approaches, do things differently, and aren’t afraid to “build as you go”
  • Able to question the status quo with managers and work with them to define new solutions to old problems
  • Well versed in organizational dynamics, know what healthy, motivated, growing teams look like, and can give guidance on what to do to make this even better
  • Hands-on, but know how to collaborate and prioritize (constantly looking for how things can be done more simply or automated)
  • Skilled in project managing HR initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Excellent at communicating a point of view using both written and oral communication skills
